I don't know that all of them are unidentified... I shot the backside of the graves, and I believe that is the reference number for the burial, but couldn't say positively.

Arlington, Virginia in the USA... it is our most famous military cemetery.... and it is hauntingly beautiful

That is a beautiful image... and isn't it sad like you said... there are so many you can't even begin to count them... I have only been in the Arlington / Washington DC area for two years... and still find roads that run along parts of the cemetery and can't believe it covers so much area...
